Moon rock is proven ingame to be harder and more resistant to damage than natural rock (moon wall vs rock wall). I just recently saw that and it hurts to look at, no way this was intentional. Not a lot of uses for moon rock outside of people obsessively swapping characters and crafting a million moon dials. This excludes other Pengulls or Moonrock Pengulls. Being especially grotesque, these moon mutated Pengulls will drain sanity when near and attack other mobs similarly to Hounds. It is found on the Lunar Island during Winter when a player walks near the Ocean.

That's obvious.Įndless and survival can allow you to change character without loosing progress, but for some reason wilderness does not have that, unless I have missed some new patch adding it in.

I know you can't upgrade the portal because there is no portal. Why do I even ask this? I ask this because I want to be able to switch character without loosing, day count and Map exploration progress, along with any prototyped Crafting recipes and any adopted Critters. And moon portal don't work in caves anyway. Dont Starve Together made multiplayer survival into something thats not as. There is no portal in wilderness thus you can't ugprade the portal towards moon portal thus you can't even craft moon rock idols.Īnd even the cave portal is useless, since it was beta content, which klei forgot to delete.
